For joint and tissues it's worth looking into supps with collagen in them.

a package a swiss rolls two scoops of stop and shop brand neopalaton ice cream magic shell and whip cream.
it will make you strong like an ox.

During training/workouts I like to drink Glyco-Peak, beats Gatorade and is cheaper. Pre training, I take a product called MRM Driven which really helps after working a 8-10hour shift and jump right into training.
