That could also work, though some wrestlers are bullheaded enough to continue driving forward and closing space down. That's if it's an arm in guillotine. If you were working a prayer choke or Marcello Garcia style guillotine then you'd definitely have more of their attention.

Youtube has been changing how they embed things, and it might effect this forum as a result.
But yeah, that's similar to what I meant by a modified armbar, though he's kept the shin in and started with an underhook rather thatn an overhook into a whizzer.

There is option on YOutube to get the old embed code.

Yeah, I'm not sure if it works for these boards as it uses its own default html embed and won't allow you to do a pure embed.

On all of these escapes by Mark and Tony, what if the guy on top starts to grab the leg of the bottom man that's trying to come out? What's to stop him from doing that? By wrapping his arm around the upper leg near the thigh once he senses that the escape might be coming. I've worked with these escapes - but if he wraps the leg you're in a whole new situation. Its unlikely your opponent will grab your leg. He only has one arm available in the first place, and when you hip out and whizzer, you are pushing his shoulder down. His head is also being pushed down and he will most likely use his only free hand to support himself. If he does take the face plant in order to catch your leg, double wrist lock his arm, or neck crank for the submission.
