What do you guys feel are some of the absolutley must have DVD/books for a CACC wrestler? The ones I definitely want are:
LAOH by Tony Cecchine
W.A.R. Catch Wrestling by Billy Robinson
Legal pain by Wade Schalles
Killer cradles by Wade Schalles
Anything CSW

There's lots to consider. Kris Iatskevich's Catch Wrestling is a good all rounder.
Have a look at prices as well.
CSW isn't pure Catch Wrestling but and mixes in BJJ as well, and is MMA based but still very good. CSW student has some great basics and fundamentals, though can seem a bit repetitive as the levels are just a step up from the previous ones (ie Level 2 will include level 1 + a bit more). I think it's more intended for affiliate coaches in CSW as a training aid for their students. CSW Essentials compliments Student by having more techniques to incorporate. Erik Paulson's Killer Leglocks, Ultimate Armbars and Neckbreaker is feast of submission holds worth knowing. Disc 5 of Ultimate Armbars focuses on armlocks from Head&Arm / Scarf / Kesagatame position which I think is really neat and not shown that often outside of Catch wrestling.
Legal Pain will make you an awesome top position wrestler with theories and concepts on how best to turn someone over and make them uncomfortable enough to pin them. Some of the theories I think you could adapt to turn people onto their front so you can attack their back.
W.A.R. is 3 DVDs of a Billy Robinson seminar that has Josh Barnett and Erik Paulson as willing students. It also has a student who's face is blurred out, and that's because it's Harry Smith - son of the late British Bulldog (I'm guessing WWE has strict rules about what their workers can appear in). There's some great technique here, but I think the anecdotes from Billy Robinson make this set.
LAOH is on the principals of making submissions more effective and devastating ie 'Hooks'. Not a great deal on position, but a little bit on weight distribution while on top which I think can be modified to be more effective today.
I personally think Mark Hatmaker's Complete Grappler set is a great introduction to Catch wrestling, has some of the more unorthodox Carnival Wrestling submissions, and has detailed breakdown of the basics like how to pummel properly, how to sprawl properly, and the section on Nelsons (Half, Quarter, Reverse-Half, and neck cranks) really made this one of my favourite ones I've seen that is Catch / Submission Wrestling based.
Attacking The Guard and Punishing Rides by Josh Barnett is also very good.

Alot of Hatmaker stuff has intrigued me but I've stayed away from him because he's such a joke to the BJJ community that its scared me off. If you even mention his name on some BJJ boards you will get laughed off. That being said, the little I've seen from him looked solid, and I've thought about subscribing to his monthly "raw" series. extremeselfprotection.com/Raw%20Products.htm

I don't know if you need to subscribe to him. BJJ guys are anti-hatmaker because he markets his grappling as anti-BJJ. So no surprise that causes conflicts.

The first 3 you mention I think are good. I also liked Submission Master, and Attacking the Guard.

Tony Cecchine ( LOAH, Snap-no-Tap ) Yoshiaki Fujiwara ( Submission master ) Kris Iatskevich ( Competition Catch Wrestling vol 1 & 2 ) Josh Barnett ( Punishing rides ) Billy Robinson ( W.A.R seminar ) Mark Hatmaker ( Complete Grappler & Beyond BJJ ) I didnt like punishing rides that much. I thought attacking the guard was better only because he emphasizes making it miserable for the guy on bottom and how to do that. But I guess I can see why people like the rides DVD. I havent seen Kris's DVD's yet. I'm thinking about ordering them though. Did you like the original submission master dvd's or the clinic one better?

I actually have both Submission master and I beleave the clinic with Dick Cardinal comes with it as well, but between bot dvds in the Fujiwara series...Sub Master all the way...loads of techniques.
